Since 2019, due to the policy adjustment from China government on solid scraps, the import of solid scraps is largely tightened up. The aluminium scraps is in very short supply in domestic market and aluminium alloy ingot prices increase with the tide.

In 2020, FAMI ALUMINUM started to to import aluminium alloy ingot from oversea aluminium smelters, importing all grades of aluminium alloy ingots and sell to domestic market including ADC12, A380, UBC ingots etc.
